LAI MOHAMMED MOCK NIGERIANS WHO PROTESTED FOR THE RELEASE OF THE KIDNAPPED KANKARA BOYS

Buhari’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has mocked those Nigerians who cared enough to protest for the release of about 344 schoolboys abducted at the Government Secondary School Kankara, Katsina State.

Addressing newsmen on Friday in Abuja, the minister described as shameful how these Nigerians could go “as far as denigrating their government and country in the most uncouth and irresponsible manner”. Some he did during his time as an opposition.

According to him, “who have started trading and politicking with the #hashtag ‘BringBackOurBoys’ can now go home, as our boys have been brought back, even before their dubious campaign could take off”.

It is quite shameful how President Buhari’s aides on media and information spend more time doing banter, attacking people with opposing political views than actually working to project the administration the serve in positive light.
